My writing goal so far this term has been to describe things by writing them in similes and strong verbs and nouns Here is a piece of writing about the rain: Through the glowing, emerald trees I hear the deafening sound of our very new speaker! It roared across the school telling us to get inside.I looked in every direction to see the rain cloud,at last i spotted it.It was as grey as a great white shark blending into coral.I was amazed, my jaw dropped but my helpful friend grabbed me to come inside.About five minutes later I was gently ambling to the window.As I saw the rain I instantly thought there was gonna be a tornado...There wasn't. Pliping and plopping the sleety looking rain splattered to the ground like shattered glass.Dun dun dun dun dun duuuun dun dun dun dun duuuunnnnd un don don don duuuun dund dun dun the bell went it stopped raining YEPEE! Do you think i achieved my goal?
